Now I must admit, cheesy commercials are not usually my forte, but after watching this one and digging a little deeper, I began to like it even more. This commercial actually has two more that go with it. This one was indulge, then there is a Future, and then Extreme. Each commercial explores a different way that media tries to grab your attention, and pull triggers, and with each new exploration they change the packaging to fit the style of the commercial. Also on the back packing there is very, very clever copy that fits the theme of each commercial. And every commercial ends with the line "Eat Em like junk food" not the most clever headline, but fits perfectly with the commercials and also with the mircorsite CPB also set up www.babycarrots.com. Now the microsite is set up in a fun interactive manner dividing one huge carrot into sections agin of how we are influenced by certain aspects of life, and what consumes most of our time : video games, food, tv, movies, and junk food. There is also a carrot power crunch video game, the new packing for carrots, more videos and commercials, and some carrots running around in viking hats and what not. Even though this did not make me really want to eat carrots, all in all I really enjoyed this whole campaign for trying to make carrots funny, and tasty.
